Nursing Science

The Ventura College associate degree nursing (ADN) program was established to prepare students for licensure and practice as registered nurses. Learning opportunities consistent with the requirements of the California Board of Registered Nursing are provided and are based on our program’s philosophy and objectives. Nursing is a vocational program leading to completion of an associate degree, to licensure and/or or to transfer.
